About your instructor: Jillian Shupe

Hi. I am Jillian Shupe, and I am so glad that you are here. I am a Certified Yoga Instructor, and an overall student of embodiment and well-being. I came to the practices of yoga in 2007, and have been working with them in some way, shape, or form ever since. I took my first 200 hour yoga teacher training at Blossom Yoga Studio in Laramie, WY in 2013. I then went on to teach classes with Jillian Anawaty at Vibrant Life from 2014-2017. During that time, I had the wonderful opportunity to complete a 100 hour Anusara Yoga Immersion with Tiffany Wood in Park City, UT in 2015. In the last 5 years I have been particularly drawn to the intersections of mental, emotional, and physical health, and how they work together to create harmony and disharmony. This has motivated me to learn more about human anatomy, the nervous system, and the vagus nerve in particular. In November 2021, I completed a 30 hour Breath and Bliss Immersion Training with Jill Miller. Her expertise in anatomy and effective embodiment has lead me to find self care tools to help regulate my own nervous system, and heal some of the deleterious effects from years of chronic anxiety. My life’s journey has lead me to learn how to care for myself better so that I may find compassion and healing, and in turn offer that to others. If you are curious about yoga, embodiment, and practices to help relieve anxiety, I would love to meet and see if working together could be a good fit.
